Shipping & Returns
Return Policy
If you need to return an item, please email us at info@mycontractorslicense.com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.
Shipping/Handling charges are not eligible for refund once a product has already been shipped.
The average time it takes us to process your return once we receive it is 1 to 3 business days, and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request averages 3 to 5 business days.
We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Courses:
We offer a 14-day hassle free return window for courses. If within the the first 14 days, you decide you do not want the course, you can give us a call for a full refund.
Our Exam Preparation coursework and software is considered intellectual material and we have no control over how committed the purchaser is to passing the exam, therefore we do not offer refunds on our prep courses without proof that the customer studied as referenced in our guarantee and still didn't pass. Course access, once purchased, is valid for 12 months. We offer paid license extensions if more time is needed, but the average completion time for even our longest courses is under 90 days. Our courses are kept up-to-date with new book editions and new material at no additional cost to our students.
All Courses are active for 1 year. Extensions are available for $1/day for State License Exams, $2/day for NASCLA, and $0.50/day for Business Law courses.
Books:
We will accept returns on books within 30 days of ordering, provided they are 100% clean and not marked on or damaged, as determined at our warehouse. Please contact us to get a return authorization number prior to returning any books. If the books have been marked, tabbed, or highlighted, contact us via email at info@mycontractorslicense.com for information on a used book buy back.
Any books that were purchased from us advertised as "used" are not eligible for returns. ALL USED BOOK SALES ARE FINAL.
Shipping
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
If you select an expedited delivery method (UPS Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air), please note that once the carrier has the package we are no longer responsible for shipping delays. If a next day order is delayed by UPS, that is out of our control. It's very rare, but does happen. Please plan accordingly when ordering or call us with any questions.
