Residential General Contractor License (B)

Residential work only.

Small Commercial General Contractor License (B-2)

Commcerial work only. Residential work is not permitted with this classification. The small commercial license also has a monetary limit of 2,000,000.00 per project including all material and Labor.

General Contractor License (B-1)

Without a monetary limit. Residential work is not permitted with this classification.

Arizona General Contractors B-1 and B-2 License specification

Arizona General Contractors NASCLA

This license is the Arizona General Contractor commercial building license.

The NASCLA exam is accepted in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, West Virginia.

Construction, alteration and repair in connection with any structure built, being built or to be built for the support, shelter and enclosure of persons, animals, chattels or movable property of any kind. This scope includes the supervision of all or any part of the above and includes the management, or direct or indirect supervision of any work performed. *Note: AZ applicants applying for the B-1 or B-2 General Commercial licenses have a choice of trade exams. They can elect to take either the NASCLA exam or the AZ ROC General Commercial exam.
