Basically, an applicant can provide a surety bond in the amount of two (2) times the net worth requirement for the Group Level applied for. For example a General Contractor Group 5 would require a surety bond in the amount of $500,000.

South Carolina General Contractor NASCLA

The South Carolina Unlimited Building Contractor license classification covers residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and modular construction along with remodeling or ancillary work. Unlimited also allows for work under many of the various sub classifications. Also by passing this one exam, you will have passed the trades exam in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, U.S. Virgin Islands, West Virginia.
